Dustbuster-Style Production Used Phaser from Star Trek: The Next Generation (Paramount TV, 1987-1994). Original hand prop constructed of cast resin body with acrylic barrel, metal, and multi-media components. Expertly studio assembled, painted in industrial gray and black, and finished to appear as a futuristic hand weapon. The 9" x 3" x 1.75" prop features buttons that depress and a wheel dial that turns on the top, a battery port concealed in the handle, which is secured by a bolt, and an on/off switch on the grip. This style of phaser was created for use in the first season of Star Trek: The Next Generation and is considered the rarest version in the contemporary Trek franchise. Exhibiting production wear, handling, minor paint crazing and some chipping to barrel. Electronics present but untested. From the personal collection of Producer Joel Silver.
